Is God Real? Now, You Decide.
Do miracles still happen? Can a baby with no heartbeat for 30 minutes come back to life? Can a cocaine addict find freedom? Can a man pronounced terminally ill be instantly healed? Is there a God who cares?
The answer is YES!
There is purpose beyond our ordinary lives. There is a love that won’t leave. There is a God who shows Himself to each of us if we simply have the courage to ask, “God, are you real?”
Curious? Check out some of these stories of real-life miracles:
Freedom from Torment
Healed of Cancer
Freedom from Addiction
Real miracles. Real people. A God who loves you. THAT’S THE REAL GOD OF THE BIBLE.
Religion might have taught you that He is angry with you. Or you’ve assumed He doesn’t exist because of all the bad things you have experienced in your life. Maybe you think the Bible is just a bunch of dos and don’ts. But the reality can be found in the life of Jesus. The truth is not hard to find.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
—John 3:16 (NIV)
LOVE. It is love that best defines who God is. And it is unconditional love we are each searching for. So, Jesus, God’s Son, came to Earth to show us what God is really like—not a distant cosmic force and not an angry tyrant. Rather, He is a loving Father who just wants His kids back.
We know we don’t have all the answers and have made plenty of heartbreaking mistakes trying to survive in this broken world. We have hurt ourselves and others.
Romans 3:23 (NIV) tells us, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” so there’s no way for us to be good enough for heaven.
We have sinned. And someone has to pay for it. Eye for eye. Blood for blood. You reap what you sow. The Bible puts it this way:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
—Romans 6:23 (NIV)
SOMEONE had to die and take the sentence hanging over our heads. So, because sin requires payment, God paid for it. Jesus was killed for our crimes. He took our place on death row. He became the bridge that opened back up the way to heaven.
Jesus didn’t just come to die. He also showed us how to LIVE. He healed the sick, set people free from mental and emotional torment, sent demons running, raised the dead, silenced the religious know-it-alls, provided hope and answers to life’s biggest questions, gave us purpose, and taught us how to love others more than ourselves.
Now, you and I have a decision. It’s time for us to decide what we believe. And how we will live.
Our decision has MAJOR consequences. We choose who we will follow. Whose leadership will we come under, God’s or Satan’s? If we choose Jesus, we will go to heaven after we die and enjoy perfection and beauty beyond what we have ever seen here on Earth. If we choose Satan, we will spend eternity in hell, in darkness without dawn, in pain without dying, in loneliness without relief, in torment without hope. We must take the “detour” that Jesus provided, or else we are choosing to follow Satan’s leadership, straight down to his final judgment of hell. There is no middle ground and no in-between. Take the way of escape! How?
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
—Romans 10:9 (NIV)
Don’t overthink or complicate it. There are no strings attached. In fact, we have to think like a little child to receive the simplicity of God’s love. We don’t have to sacrifice and be good enough for God to give us His whole Kingdom. Sure, every other religion demands that you work and be good enough, to sacrifice and attain or earn perfection. But Jesus sacrificed Himself for us so we could take on His perfection.
It’s as simple as asking God to lead the way, to be the Lord of your life. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and make you brand new on the inside. Every sin will be washed away when you receive Jesus’s perfection!
You can start a new life with Jesus right now by praying this very simple prayer out loud:
“Jesus, I need You. Make me brand new on the inside. Forgive me for my mistakes. Do a work in me. Thank You that You died so I can live. I want to be a child of God with all the rights and benefits of Your Kingdom. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, CONGRATULATIONS! You just took the first step toward your new life with God!
