God has been showing me what love and being a Christian is supposed to look like in our everyday life.
First Corinthians tells us exactly what love looks like…
➡️First Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV) say love looks like PATIENCE and KINDNESS. It does not envy, boast, dishonor others, keep a record of wrongs, get easily angered, or delight in evil. It’s not prideful or self-seeking.
Jesus lived out of love EVERY SINGLE DAY, and do you know what He told us? “…Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these…”
(John 14:12, NIV).
Jesus, the most perfect person, said we will do GREATER things than He did! That means we can live out of love, live in confidence, and LOVE WHO WE ARE.
You were created by love, for love, to BECOME love.

Do you know what being a Christian means? The Bible says, “…Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends…” (John 15:12-13, NIV) and “…If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24, ESV).
❤️ It looks like a lot of laying down one’s life constantly, right??
Asking Jesus into your heart isn’t JUST about getting to heaven; it is LITERALLY about becoming LOVE ON EARTH, to die to yourself.
Maybe you’re thinking, “What does that mean, die to myself?”
It means to live out God’s will instead of your own.
It means to pray for that person instead of caring what they will think of you, because you care MORE ABOUT THEM than you do yourself. It means NOT BEING OFFENDED. Remember what love is? Love keeps no record of wrongs, love is not proud, and love is not self-seeking.
Guys, we have to get this! You will never do what you are called to do if you don’t know who you are.
Jesus never got His feelings hurt because the ONLY opinion He believed about Himself was God’s.
You must know what God says about you, so you can battle lies with truth!
IT IS TIME…
TO GET REAL.
TO RISE UP.
TO LOVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE.
AND TO MAKE THE DEVIL PAY!
SO PICK UP YOUR SWORD—THE WORD OF GOD—AND REPRESENT JESUS IN EVERYTHING YOU DO!
