Motion City Announcement 09-13-12

Hi everyone!

Motion City is going great! We are still learning about the different types of prayer. Most importantly we are teaching that prayer is simply talking to God. We talked about binding and loosing this past weekend, and how we can bind up sickness and poverty, and loose healing and prosperity.

This upcoming weekend, we will talk about the Prayer of Intercession: how we have to stand in the gap for those around us and intercede for them.

The memory verse for the upcoming weekend is 1 Timothy 2:1: “Therefore I exhort first of all, that requests, prayers, intersession and giving of thanks be made for all men.”

Remember to:

• Keep going over the memory verses with your kids so they have a chance to earn Motion City Money.
• Have your child submit a short, funny clip to larn@faithlifechurch.org by September 15 if he/she wants to star in the next Motion City video!
• Have your child wear his/her themed t-shirt and bring his/her Bible to service to earn points toward our SLIME contest coming at the end of the month.
